All hardware, stitching and seams of Maven Leather designs are warrantied for two years from date of purchase. If within this timeframe, any of these elements fails, we will repair it for free (excluding any shipping costs).
This warranty does not include design alterations, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis and incur additional charges.

The Beauty of Leather:
Please understand that Maven uses minimally processed, full grain leathers. This means that there are minimal plastic and chemical finishes on our hides. We celebrate the natural markings, color variations and scars of authentic leather and hope that you do as well. Expect your leather to change over time as it becomes exposed to natural oils, sunlight, moisture, etc. With proper care and conditioning, your Maven design will get better and better with age.
Plant Dyed Leathers:
Maven prides itself on a sustainable approach to leatherwork. Many hides are personally dyed in-house by Maven Leather founder, Emma Thieme. Emma uses ancient plant and insect dye recipes that date back centuries and are 100% ethical and sustainable. These pieces are always the pride and joy of each Maven collection. Although these plant dyed leather designs are always rugged and made to be used, plant dyed leathers require an extra level of care and attention. Plant dyed leathers should be kept out of direct sunlight whenever possible and should be conditioned regularly with our recommended product. Expect plant dyed colors to change over time, but regular conditioning will help them to look as bright as possible, for as long as possible. Plant dyed leathers are always noted in product descriptions.
Purchases are shipped every Thursday from the Maven Leather studio + boutique in Cayucos, CA. We use USPS Priority shipping.

Returns + Exchanges:
We want you to be completely pleased with your Maven Leather purchase, but please note that Maven Leather is an extremely small business. Please be intentional with your ordering and ask questions beforehand if necessary. Typically, we do not accept returns.
Exchanges for online orders must be requested within 48-hours of receiving your purchase and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Exchanges will be granted for a design of equal or greater value. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
In-store exchanges can also be completed in the Cayucos, CA Maven Leather studio within 14 days of purchase for a design of equal or greater value.
Designs must be exchanged in new, unused condition with all packaging in-tact.
